NEWS FLASHAir Serbia handled its three-millionth passenger of the year on Saturday 31 August, reaching the milestone two weeks ahead of last year. Over the first eight months of 2024, the carrier operated 31.000 scheduled and charter flights. Commenting on the result, Air Serbia’s CEO, Jiri Marek, said, “On September 15, 2023, Air Serbia surpassed the milestone of carrying over three million passengers in a single year for the first time under its current name. Driven by strong demand for our flights to over 90 destinations across 34 countries worldwide, Air Serbia reached the three million passenger mark in 2024. It happened 15 days earlier than in 2023, which is a success we are very proud of”.
